LAST PIC OF THE MONTH.. FOR NOW

Month

It has been a crazy year. Not one picture could capture what happened this year as we got married, are looking to buy a house, runaway from a war, travelled a lot and saw incredible concerts. And that was just the special stuff, let’s not forget the ordinary month to month stuff.

THE LAST PIC OF THE MONTH

All that is good, comes to an end at some point. I absolutely loved looking every month for a picture that I could feature on the blog. However, it was getting a bit repetitive. I feel I will slowly go into the same style every few months of racing, concerts and travel pictures. That’s why I decided to call it a day on Pic of the Month at the moment.

I’m sure it will make its return in the future, but for now let’s dive into this month’s picture.

THERE IS ALWAYS A SPACE IN MY HEART

Living abroad in a different country isn’t always the easiest. Especially when that country is generally not really liked by its neighbours. Or when the people within that country aren’t always the greatest to you, either. But there is this person that keeps me sane and here. From the moment we met, our journey has been a wild rollercoaster. We navigated a long-distance relationship, braved moves across countries during a pandemic, and now, we’re happily married.

And then we are about to buy a house! How crazy is that?! This month’s Pic of the Month is a little look back at the girl that brought me here. It actually was taken just a few days ago when we were visiting the Heart Shape Rock in Ma’agan Michael. A beautiful spot close to our new home.

As it is the last one, let’s end it with a song. A song from Biffy Clyro, a band my wife introduced me to. It was featured on our wedding and seems to fit perfectly:

I get lost sometimesWith you, I am fineI get lost so I’ll follow the light to your heart
