PATRIK PULKKINEN DOMINATES IN RACE 2

Hockenheimring 2

Race 2 on the Hockenheimring was won by Finnish rider Patrik Pulkkinen. Making it a double Finn victory on the German track.

In the second race, the picture remained unchanged. Once again, a group of 4-5 riders battled for the victory. Patrik led the race, followed by Jarno Kausch. Unfortunately, Peetu crashed while in 4th position, two laps before the end of the race (no injuries). As a result, the race officials ended the race with the red flag, without a restart.
Patrik won the race (+25 points), followed by Jarno Kausch (+20 points) and Filip Salac (+16 points). Peetu was listed in fourth place due to the race being stopped, once again demonstrating his fighting spirit.

Thus, Patrik extends his lead over Jarno Kausch in the championship by one point, while the points difference between Patrik and Filip remains unchanged.

The next race is the 12th race in the Moriwaki 250 Junior Cup takes place during the BSB (British Superbike) event in Assen, Netherlands (September 19th – 21st, 2014), where Patrik Pulkkinen will once again attempt to improve his points in the overall standings.
